Montreux Jazz Experience

In 43 years, the Montreux Jazz Festival has made history and forged lasting relationships along the way. The relationship between Claude Nobs and the artists is one of rare friendship, bound together by a shared passion for music. There’s also the relationship between the Festival and the public, who travel to Montreux from across Switzerland and around the world in ever greater numbers each year. The Festival has greatly evolved since 1967, however its length, venue and initial spirit have remained the same: A shared musical experience in the highest quality conditions and with the largest possible audience.

And now every effort is made to prolong this experience for the audience beyond the duration of the Festival. Thanks to the Live at Montreux website (www.liveatmontreux.com), anyone can watch free concert clips in high quality video. The Montreux Jazz Cafés (www.mymontreuxjazzcafe.com) at Geneva International Airport and Sydney allows travellers to enjoy food and relax while watching exclusive archived concert footage. Montreux Sounds, which manages the video archives, has made a search engine available which enables users to find every artist having played at the Festival since 1967 (www.montreuxsounds.com). For those looking for souvenirs, the Montreux Jazz Shop (www.montreuxjazzshop.com) displays all products offered for sale, such as DVDs, t-shirts and posters.

The Montreux Jazz Festival is there for you year-round and worldwide!
